I’m so excited!  Today, The Alpha’s Heart (Wilde Creek Two) is available!!

When I think that the series began last summer with the scene from the first book, when Luke is defending Eveny against the wolves, I can’t believe that now Acksel’s story is out!  I had no idea that I would enjoy Wilde Creek and it’s characters so much.  It’s exactly my favorite kind of place – a small town where everyone knows everyone.

I wouldn’t be anywhere with a lot of awesome help.  From Alexis at Word Vagabond and Amanda at The Picky Bitch for editing, to Ramona at Romance Book Cover Designs, to Joyce who beta-read, to Carla at Book Monster Promotion who took the book on a fabulous tour, to the Shifter Babes Street Team who pimped the book until the cows came home…thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your support.

To celebrate the day, I wanted to share an excerpt that is one of my favorites, a scene where Brynn is making a few demands to Acksel.  It has one of my hands-down favorite lines in the whole book…”how easy do you think I am?”  I just love when heroines tell their heroes “how it’s going to be” and put them in their place.

“We need to talk,” she said, straightening and folding her arms across her chest.  It made her lush breasts plump up and strain against the material of the t-shirt.  She cleared her throat when he didn’t say anything.

“Sorry.  Sure.  Want to sit down?”

“No, I don’t think so.  I’m a little pissed, Acksel.”

Uh oh.

“Uh,” he started, but she raised a hand for silence and he closed his mouth.

“I realized what’s been bugging me.  You never asked me to be your mate; you just talk about us as if we’re already a couple.  I’m pretty sure that things don’t work that way in the forest, so I think you’re taking advantage of me being human and not knowing the score.”

“I am not taking advantage of you,” he huffed.

“Really?  So when was it exactly that you asked me if I wanted to be your mate?  Because I don’t remember you doing that.”

A low growl rumbled in his chest and she waved her hand and rolled her eyes.  “Oh, please.  You know I’m right.”

Damn it.  She was right.  He’d made an assumption and it hadn’t occurred to him to actually ask her.  Maybe because he’d been afraid of what her answer would be.

He inhaled deeply and exhaled slowly.  “Brynn, would you—”

“Hold it!” she shouted, putting both hands up.  “Are you serious?  You’re going to just ask me now?  How easy do you think I am?  Wait, wait.  Don’t answer that.  What I mean is that you have to earn me, buddy, and I don’t come cheap.  You might have been able to get me into your bed six weeks ago without all the fuss, but that ship has sailed.”

Coming May 5th, the 7th book in The Wolf’s Mate series!!

It seems hard to believe that back in 2011, Lindy Vincent began her life as a bitchy antagonist in the first Wolf’s Mate book.  I hadn’t planned to write a book for her, but then she kept popping up in other books.  Like when she tried to seduce Bo in book five, or when she saved Jenna in book six.  And then when my editor was working on Logan’s book, she mentioned that she thought the idea of the “wulfen” (a man who is both wolf and fae) was intriguing and would make a good story, and my creative juices were stirred.

Lindy’s story is one of redemption – of making changes and trying to find happiness within – and what happens when a she-wolf and her wulfen truemate come together. *hint – much sexiness ensues!*

Hi Everyone!  I’m thrilled to share that The Alpha’s Heart (Wilde Creek Two) is available for pre-order!  The book will be released on April 10th.

I’m so excited about this book.  I really loved writing about Acksel and Brynn, and visiting with the pack in Wilde Creek.  Acksel was a lot of fun to write, and I enjoyed Brynn’s backstory and how they end up together.  There’s something very cool about romances that start out early in life.  Although the romantic part of Brynn and Acksel’s story doesn’t begin until they are adults, they met in grade school and have known each other forever.

Acksel’s book is going to be making the promotional rounds in the next few weeks – I’ll be hosting a giveaway on this blog when the book is live, I’m taking part in a fun Facebook party with the awesome Chelsea Author Promotions (April 11), and Acksel’s book is going on a blog tour at the end of March, courtesy of the always fabulous Book Monster Promotions.

I cannot believe that 2013 is nearly over!  The year has just flown by.

I kicked off 2013 with Seducing Samantha, the first of the Ashland Pride series.   Then Melo’s story (A Twitch of Tail, #6 in the Wiccan Were Bear series), Logan & Jenna (Wolf’s Mate #6), Every Dawn Forever (Hyena Heat #2), Loving Lachlyn (Ashland Pride #2), A Promise on White Wings (Jes’ story in the WWB series, #7), and the first of my new Wilde Creek series, Mate of Her Heart.

2013 has been truly wild.  The emails, FB messages and posts,  and blog comments have meant the world to me.  I can’t thank you all enough for making 2013 so successful.  I’m excited for what 2014 has in store.

In 2014, my writing plans include the following books:

• The Alpha’s Heart (Wilde Creek #2)
• The Wolf’s Mate #7
• Every Sunset Forever (Hyena Heat #3)

I also hope to continue on in other series including books in the Wiccan-Were-Bear, Ashland Pride, Necklace Chronicles, and Wilde Creek series.

I’m ready for 2014 to start and looking forward to sharing it with my friends and fans.  To celebrate the coming year, I’m revealing the cover and description for Marking Melody, Ashland Pride Three, which will be available for purchase on January 20th.  The cover was done by the fabulous and always amazing Valerie Tibbs at Tibbs Design.  She’s done fab covers for some amazing authors; I’m really honored to have had the chance to work with her again (she also did my website this summer, woo!).
