I’m so happy that Saving Scarlett is now available!  I have loved her character ever since I introduced her during Melody’s book.  I loved the idea of her being a Breeding Queen, of Ray and Wes wanting nothing more than to be with her again, and to visit with the mountain lions because I adore them.

I hope you enjoy her story as much as I enjoyed writing it!

Scarlett Jamison, the daughter of a powerful alpha wolf, knows her freedom is slowly slipping away. As a Breeding Queen, her hereditary destiny is to be given away to a male of her father’s choosing. She’ll have no say in the choice of her mate; her only duty will be to give her future mate as many pups as he wants. Ray and Wesley won’t give up on Scarlett. One night was not nearly enough for them. Finding Scarlett turns out to be easy. Taking her back to Ashland to live happily ever after? Now, that’s going to be dangerous. Ray and Wesley are willing to go to any length to protect Scarlett’s right to choose them no matter the cost, but when an innocent life is on the line, will the payment for her disobedience be blood?

This book contains one female who has her choices taken from her, two males determined to make her theirs, and a pride willing to help. Expect plenty of m/f/m interaction, abundant use of the word ‘mine,’ and inappropriate use of a horse statue.

I always get a little philosophical at this time year, when the previous year is about to draw to a close and the new one looms a little over six hours in the distance.  I think back on my plans for the year and wonder how I can make the next year even better.

I’ve been a published author since November 2011.  In that time, I’ve written 26 books in six different series, brought hundreds of characters to life, and published more than 1,000,000 words.  I can’t believe that I’m still doing this, because it’s like a dream come true every day I sit down and start writing.  I always wanted to be a writer, but like that old saying “A dream without a goal is just a wish,”  I knew I needed to take action, so I did.  I sat across from my husband at dinner in December 2010 and told him I wanted to publish a book.  He looked at me like I had lobsters growing out my ears, but said I should do whatever made me happy.  Here I am, three years later, a USA Today best selling author with fans and readers all across the globe.  I never imagined when I first published A Curve of Claw that anyone would want to read my books, let alone that I would make a best seller list with a book about two mountain lions and their albino panther mate.

2014 was an incredible year.

*Marking Melody showed that female mountain lions can love.

*Alpha Acksel (The Alpha’s Heart) got his head on straight.

*Bad-Girl Lindy found her truemate in a wolf/fairy (The Wolf’s Mate Book 7).

*A Slash of Savagery proved that even 1,000 year old vampires need love, too.

*I never knew the word carrot was so hilarious (The Protector’s Heart)

*Rue (Ashland Pride 4) became my most difficult and endearing character.  Her amazing story made it to the USA Today Best Seller list!

For the coming year, I hope to publish at least seven books.  While I don’t have firm publication dates in mind for these releases, I hope you’ll be happy with the list of upcoming titles.  Some of these books have been a long time coming, I know!!

I wanted to take a moment to wish all my US Friends & Fans a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays.  I love having a house full of people, all the wonderful food and desserts, and sharing the day with the people I love.

I have a lot to be thankful for!  I have a wonderful family and friends, and I get to share my books with the world.  I have the best job in the world and I’m so thankful for all of you!!!!
