Back in 2012, I had an idea about a race of aliens with blue hair that would change once they met their soulmates.  That story became part of my Necklace Chronicles series, The Gigolo’s Bride.  Ever since that book came out, I always wanted to go back and revisit that world, especially because of Eden’s best friend Paoli.  I envisioned him having a happily-ever-after, and now I can finally say his story is about to be told!

Kammie, the scarred she-wolf in the Wilde Creek pack is finally getting her book!  I’m thrilled to be able to share her story finally.  I feel like she’s been waiting a long time to get her Happily-Ever-After.  I knew the moment I wrote about her in The Alpha’s Heart that she’d be getting a story of her own, she just had to wait for her truemate to come crashing through the woods!  Because I’m so excited for this book, I’m giving you all a never-before-released scene!

Row’s hands flattened against the door as he eased toward Kammie, his gaze zeroing in on her mouth.

Her breath halted in her chest, and her heart began to pound.  “Take off the shirt,” he said roughly.

She swallowed hard, her mouth suddenly dry.  “I, um, what?”

“You smell of another male, and it’s making my bear angry.  Unless you’d like me to go back to Adam’s home and kill him…take off the shirt.”

She pressed her lips into a thin line as her heart pounded.  She couldn’t smell Adam; all she could smell was Row’s bear.  He had a deep, woodsy scent that made her think about dark caves in the winter.  Her wolf wanted her to strip and wriggle against Row until every inch of her skin was saturated with his scent.  It was an effort not to do what he demanded.

She decided to try being blunt.  “I know you may feel like we’re mates, but I’m not looking for a mate.”

“You might not have been, but you’ve got one.”  The muscles in his arms flexed, and a deeper scent filled the air between them.  Her body flooded with heat, and it took all of her willpower not to free herself from the shirt.

“I’ll go take a shower.  Then I won’t smell like anyone but me.”

His eyes were a deep brown that bordered on black.  He stared at her as if he could divine all of her innermost thoughts if he looked at her long enough, and maybe he could.  She didn’t really want to find out.

“Shower sounds fun,” he drawled.

Happy New Year!

I cannot believe how fast 2015 went by!  It seems like I was just writing down my thoughts on 2014 and what I wanted to accomplish in 2015, and here I am ready to do it again!

Sabers1boxset_12015 was wonderful!  I started three new series (Saber Chronicles, Were-Zoo, & Arctic Shifters), was part of two boxed sets, and wrote a lot of stories, argued with my muse, and connected online with so many wonderful readers.  I’m truly blessed and so thankful for everything.

A Peek at 2016:

My plans for next year include closing out two series – Wiccan-Were-Bear and Hyena Heat.  There are three more books due in WWB – Tosh, Mishka, and the twins Teck & Shy, and two more books in HH – Heaven and Angel.

Expect more books in the Were-Zoo, Arctic Shifters, and Saber Chronicles in 2016, along with the final stories for WWB and HH.  Wilde Creeks #5 and #6 are coming this year, as well as Ashland Pride #6, and a new series based on the world in The Gigolo’s Bride. A good friend and I are planning to write in a shared world as well, so keep your eyes peeled for that!

I honestly can’t wait for 2016 to start!  I wish you an amazing start to 2016 and a wonderful year!  XOXO, RE
