~ My Favorite Halloween Memory ~
I have a lot of wonderful Halloween memories growing up. My dad used to take my brother and I trick-or-treating with our neighbor and his two kids when we lived in Cleveland. I can vividly recall having to walk through snow to get candy and being bundled up with a winter coat! One of my favorite memories of Halloween comes from when I was a junior in high school. I was dating a senior guy, and he invited me to come with him and some friends to a haunted woods attraction. I’m not super big on scary things, but I was willing to give it a try. After Dracula drove us across a corn field on a tractor, we were dropped off at the start of a trail that wound through thick woods. It was a full moon, so I was feeling pretty cocky that no dressed up monsters were going to sneak out and scare me because it was so bright out. As we walked, laughing at the people ahead of us who were scared, my boyfriend put his arm around me. After a little bit, I lifted my hand to link our fingers, when my hand brushed against my boyfriend’s arm. That wasn’t over my shoulders! I looked to the side and was face to face with a big werewolf. I screeched in surprise and nearly knocked our whole group over when I hopped away like my feet were on fire. All Mr. Werewolf said to me was “Hi there”, with a wave, and lumbered back into the woods. They didn’t let me forget how funny it was that I’d walked for several minutes with a complete stranger’s arm over my shoulders and never even noticed!

Halloween Hugs & Kisses, RE
It’s Here! I’m so excited for the 12th story in my Wiccan-Were-Bear series! Mishka has been waiting a LONG time! It took me forever to figure out the perfect mate for him. He is a 500 year old vampire after all! He needed a special woman, and I figured an immortal musical muse was an excellent match for him!
I am just so happy to finally be able to share that Mishka – the 500-year-old vampire master of the city of Cleveland – is finally getting his story! Like many of the heroes in the original story – A Curve of Claw – I never anticipated that Mishka would be so well liked by readers, but I’m thankful he is! It took me 5 years to figure out his story and find him an amazing beloved mate, and it’s about time he got his story told!
I hadn’t intended to start any new series last year, but beginning with Zane, the first in the Were Zoo series, I didn’t keep my promise to myself! I loved the idea of a secret shifter zoo, and being a Jersey girl, I just had to make the zoo’s location New Jersey! Zane’s story was so popular, that I wanted to get another story in this series out as soon as I could, so I give you the sexy lion security guard – JUPITER!
